“Ace” Uke Prototype

A-symetrical ukulele design prototype designed and built by N.M. Cioni, Luthier. This instrument is constructed with all solid woods, traditional hide glue, and modern wood glue. Top, back, sides, and neck are cut from a single spalted mahogany billet. Bracing and lining are spruce and the instrument features a unique piezo array wired to a microphone output (requires a pre-amp) providing excellent clarity and natural tone when amplified. The finish is french polish prepared and applied by the luthier. This is a hand made product in “new” condition. Please email with any questions about making a purchase.

1918 Martin 0-18 Replica

This is a modern replica of a 1918 Martin guitar with x braced sitka spruce top, mahogany back sides and neck (cut from a single billet), Rosewood fingerboard, and hand made Rosewood Pyramid Bridge (specific to this model). The top shows beautiful silking and the guitar is french polished. Overall tone is very well balanced with presence and more reserve than expected for a smaller bodied guitar.
